LEGAL + VERIFICATION
Verification you can explain.
This page describes how hashes and the .seal file work, plus practical privacy and usage notes.
What is the .seal file?
Every job includes a .seal verification record alongside your exports (PDF/TXT/SRT/VTT/JSON).
- Includes the SHA-256 hash of your submitted file (verification fingerprint).
- Includes job metadata needed to connect outputs back to the input file.
- Helps you demonstrate file integrity across handoffs (download, transfer, review).
How verification works (plain English)
- You upload a file.
- Your browser generates a SHA-256 hash for that file.
- We process the file and return exports plus a .seal.
- Later, you can hash the original file again and confirm it matches the recorded SHA-256.
Privacy
- No account required for uploads.
- We don’t use promotional email.
- Use the optional email only for delivery links and support.
